With a few weeks of concerted troop wide effort, we are able to raise enough money to cover a great deal of the cost of camping, summer camp, and other troop activities.<\/p><p>We get permits to cut trees in the local national forest, and then sell them for about two weeks after Thanksgiving and before Christmas.<\/p><p>Each family does about five half-day shifts and there is one day of tree
